KENOSHA, Wis. — A 40-year-old Kenosha woman was arrested late Tuesday night after allegedly causing a serious crash that left a motorcyclist critically injured near 85th Street and 22nd Avenue.

According to preliminary information from the Kenosha County Jail roster, Natalie Jillann Freeman, born in July 1985, was booked on suspicion of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle (second and subsequent offense) and hit-and-run involving great bodily harm, both expected to be charged as felonies. Formal charges are anticipated to be filed Thursday or Friday.
Authorities say Freeman was driving a passenger vehicle when she made a left turn without yielding to an oncoming motorcyclist. The motorcyclist struck her vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries. The victim was airlifted by Flight for Life to a regional trauma center and is believed to still be alive.

Freeman allegedly left the scene before law enforcement arrived but was taken into custody later that night. She remained in custody as of Wednesday evening.
Court records show that Freeman was previously convicted of operating while intoxicated (OWI) on February 27, 2017, after pleading guilty the following month. She failed to pay the full amount of her court costs, which were later referred to a state collection agency.

If convicted on both pending charges, Freeman could face more than 25 years in prison and additional fines.
Freeman’s initial court appearance is expected after formal charges are filed, likely on October 9 or 10 before Court Commissioner William Michel II.

I came upon the scene after it happened, I ran to the injured young man where there were many of us helping him until EMS arrived.He was alert and talking and in a lot of pain. Prayers for his recovery.

The fact that she didn’t even pay her court fines says she still doesn’t care what she’s done. She’ll be locked up for a long time- and she deserves it.
Oh Great Michel’s will likely release her on a no-cash bail so she can go out, drink, drive and try to kill another person. She needs to be PUT AWAY for at least 30 years so she cannot harm another soul. She should not have had a driver’s license either.
