KENOSHA, Wis. – Ronnie D. Orr Jr., the 38-year-old Kenosha liberal activist who goes by the alias “Ron Dean” on Facebook, returned to social media today in a profanity-laced rant after a contentious court appearance related to his October arrest for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Despite telling his followers earlier this month that his case was resolved, Orr had in fact skipped his October 8 court date. In a new hearing held today, he was reportedly offered a plea deal that would include two weeks in jail—prompting him to lash out at prosecutors, the judge, and the entire city.

“So last court date everything was supposed to be dropped and turned into a disorderly conduct citation,” Orr wrote. “Come to court today. Guess who’s the DA… now offer me two weeks in jail and both charge stick… I was given no reason other than he didn’t like it.”

Online Tirade

Orr claimed he was not allowed to speak directly to the judge and was forced to apply for a public defender despite allegedly earning too much income to qualify. On May 16, July 18, and again today, he requested adjournments to “hire an attorney.” “As soon as this case over I’m moving out of this state. How this is legal or okay idk but I’m done with Kenosha dead serious rolled af.”

His comments quickly drew support from a small but vocal group of activists and convicted criminals, including Nicholas Dennis, who has previously made public threats and faced criminal charges of his own.

Orr’s rants have become increasingly erratic and conspiratorial as his case moves through the courts. He continues to claim victimhood and political targeting despite clear evidence to the contrary, including police body cam footage that refuted his initial accusations of police misconduct.

History of False Claims

On October 8, Orr posted: “Case dropped walked out of there with a disorderly conduct citation no lawyer needed. Write about that Kevin Mathewson.” That claim turned out to be completely false, and Orr failed to even appear in court that day. Court records confirmed he failed to appear and no resolution occurred.

Orr was arrested outside Tavern on 6th in March of this year after a woman accused him of inappropriately touching her more than once. The woman reportedly did not want to press charges for any type of sexual assault. When police arrived, Orr became argumentative and refused to comply, leading to his arrest. He later accused officers—both white and Black—of targeting him for “drinking while Black.”

Long History of Criminal Behavior

Orr’s criminal record includes charges for domestic violence, bail jumping, resisting arrest, carrying a concealed weapon, and disorderly conduct. His continued refusal to take responsibility and his attacks on law enforcement are consistent with a years-long pattern of deflection and provocation.

His next court date is scheduled for November 17. It remains unclear whether Orr will accept the current plea offer, obtain counsel, or once again escalate his rhetoric online in an attempt to sway public perception.
