
KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. Kenosha County will kick off Veterans Day commemorations with a free Veterans Breakfast and Resource Fair on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kenosha County Job Center, 8600 Sheridan Road (Entrance D). Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Military honors and a brief program begin at 9 a.m., with breakfast served at 9:15. A resource fair runs throughout the morning, including informational providers and free haircuts from Gateway Technical College student barbers.

Veterans Day Worship Service — 11 a.m., Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 5601 Washington Road, Kenosha. Free lunch to follow.

Veterans Day Breakfast — 8:30–10 a.m., Village Pub of Silver Lake, 307 N. Cogswell Drive, Silver Lake. RSVP requested.
Sunday, Nov. 9
Village of Pleasant Prairie Veterans Day Ceremony — 1:30 p.m., Pleasant Prairie Veterans Memorial at Prairie Springs Park, 9900 Terwall Terrace. Light refreshments.
Monday, Nov. 10
Gateway Technical College Veterans Honor Dinner — 5–7 p.m., Gateway Kenosha Campus (Atrium), 3520 30th Ave., Kenosha. Guest speaker: retired Army veteran Joshua Deron. Dinner served; no registration required.
Tuesday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day)
Wilmot Union High School Breakfast & Observance — Breakfast 7:45 a.m., assembly 8:45 a.m., 11112 308th Ave., Wilmot. Community veterans and families welcome; RSVP requested.
Salem Consolidated Grade School Program — 8:45–9:15 a.m., 8828 Antioch Road, Salem (North Gym, Door #11). Reception to follow.
American Legion Post 21 Veterans Day Celebration — 10 a.m.–noon, 504 58th St., Kenosha. Flanders Field Ceremony 10:45 a.m.; Rendering of Honors at 11; coffee/doughnuts; stew at 11:15.
Civil War Museum Program (Navy Club Ship 40) — 11 a.m., Freedom Hall, 5400 First Ave., Kenosha. Ceremony honoring veterans.
