KENOSHA, Wis. — Jimmie L. Nelson III, 21, of Kenosha, was in court and charged today with felony burglary after prosecutors said he used a key and safe access code from his former management job to enter the Sheridan Road McDonald’s and steal more than $1,900 — and despite District Attorney Xavier Solis requesting a $25,000 cash bail, Liberal Activist Court Commissioner David Hughes (D) set bail at only $3,000 cash, which Nelson appeared ready to post immediately.
