Brighton Man Hit With Felony Charges After Investigators Uncover Child Pornography and Bestiality Material: Video

BRIGHTON, Wis. — A Brighton man is facing a devastating set of allegations after detectives say they uncovered illegal material involving both child sexual exploitation and sexual acts involving animals — including files that combined the two. Jerry D. Lapenta II, 33, was charged today, and Supplemental Commissioner William Michel II ordered a $100,000 cash bail. Lapenta is forbidden from having contact with any children or domestic animals and may not possess any device capable of accessing the internet. He is due back in court on November 26 for a preliminary hearing.
