TWIN LAKES, Wis. — On Saturday night, a fully involved structure fire tore through a single-family home in the 400 block of Waldeck Drive, prompting a second-alarm response and drawing fire crews from across Kenosha County and northern Illinois.
Twin Lakes Fire/Rescue was dispatched at approximately 9:24 p.m. after reports of a home engulfed in flames. Automatic aid followed from the Town of Randall Fire Department, Town of Wheatland Fire Department, and the Richmond (IL) Fire Protection District. Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed the home was already consumed by fire, resulting in an immediate request to upgrade the incident to a MABAS Box 65-01 first alarm.
Twin Lakes Police reported one individual who required medical attention after attempting to re-enter the burning home. Twin Lakes Rescue transported the patient to Aurora Medical Center–Burlington for treatment of smoke inhalation. As firefighters worked to control the blaze, the gas meter ruptured due to heat damage, causing a natural gas leak that forced crews to wait for the utility company to shut off the supply line. The line, a metal pipe requiring a specialty team, significantly delayed suppression efforts.
Dozens of agencies ultimately responded, including departments from Salem Lakes, Spring Grove (IL), Lake Geneva, Waterford, Burlington, Hebron (IL), Somers, McHenry Township (IL), Bristol, Fox Lake (IL), Fontana, Pleasant Prairie, the City of Kenosha, Wonder Lake (IL), and Racine Fire Bells. Spring Grove (IL), Kansasville, Paris, and Newport (IL) provided additional change-of-quarters coverage.
Dispatch services were provided by Twin Lakes Dispatch and Kenosha County Joint Dispatch. WE Energies, Alliant Energy, and multiple MABAS partners assisted.
The MABAS box was struck out at 11:26 p.m., but firefighters remained on scene for overhaul operations until approximately 2:30 a.m. No fatalities were reported, and no additional injuries were announced by officials.

If someone knows this family and we can provide them with anything please let us know in the comments. Especially around the holiday time
The most amazing woman i. The world owns this home. She open her home to my family , so we could be close to our son after he was in a horrible motorcycle accident last year.. She is a friend/family of my cousin. She never met us before that.. This is heart braking for my family. Knowing she lost her family home 3 generations have live there. If I remember the story correctly. .
I will ask if there is any thing you can help her my cousins or their otherroom mate with..
We entered that home as stranger and left as family. I pray God watch over them all at this time.
