PADDOCK LAKE, Wis. — Christ Lutheran Church will host a free Christmas concert on Saturday, December 6, featuring performances by the Riverport Chorus, the Alleluia Bell Choir, and the Common Thread ensemble — a festive community tradition that draws families from across western Kenosha County each year.
The show begins at 6 p.m. inside the church sanctuary at 24929 75th Street in Paddock Lake. Admission is free and open to the public, and attendees can expect an evening filled with holiday favorites, acapella numbers, bell choir selections, and classic Christmas sing-alongs. Festive treats will be offered during intermission.
“This early December concert is one of Riverport’s best-loved appearances,” said Riverport Chorus Director Laurel Peterson. “We’ve celebrated the holiday in song at Christ Lutheran annually for several years, and we always look forward to it.”
The Riverport Chorus arrives in Paddock Lake following a busy day of performances, including appearances for special audiences in Antioch and Salem Lakes. Their December schedule also includes shows in Beach Park/Waukegan, Kenosha, Lake Geneva, Pleasant Prairie, Waterford, and several other communities.
Riverport Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2024 and was named the Region 3 Sweet Adelines 2025 Audience Choice Award Winner. The group rehearses Mondays at 7 p.m. at Wilmot Union High School in Wilmot, and guests are welcome at any rehearsal.
