RANDALL, Wis. — The Salem man accused of disrupting deputies and damaging a Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office drone during the Bassett Road crash investigation has now been formally charged in Kenosha County Circuit Court, and his first court date is set.

He should get nothing. He was in his own yard. Didn’t know what was going on. You should not be ordered to retreat into your own house.

If he was just yelling and didn’t want to go inside I’d agree. But using a strong light to interfere with the drone operation is obstruction and could have been dangerous, when it crashed. Those things are very expensive, as the article notes.
Interfering with deputies investigating another impaired crash, that could have hit you or me, or our kids or grandkids. Give the cops a break, stay out of their way if they’re not affecting your life.
