KENOSHA, Wis. — The Kenosha Professional Police Association Board of Directors has formally endorsed Congressman Tom Tiffany in the upcoming Wisconsin governor’s race, praising him as a candidate who will stand firmly with law enforcement and prioritize public safety.

“Wisconsin needs strong leadership that respects the rule of law and stands firmly behind the men and women who wear the badge every day. Tom Tiffany is the right choice for governor, and together we will work to protect the safety and security of the people of Wisconsin,” the association’s Board of Directors said in a statement announcing the endorsement.
Tiffany responded by saying he is honored to receive the backing of Kenosha police officers and vowed to support law enforcement if elected governor.
“I’m honored to have the support of the Kenosha Professional Police Association. Our officers show up for Wisconsinites every single day, and as governor, I will make sure they have the tools, staffing, and support they deserve,” Tiffany said. “A little over five years ago, Kenosha was left to burn while Democrat candidates currently running for governor poured fuel on the fire. That will never happen on my watch. I will support law enforcement, boost recruitment and retention, and make sure every community in Wisconsin is safe and secure.”
The endorsement also comes with renewed criticism of Democratic leadership during the unrest in Kenosha in August 2020. At that time, the presidents of four Wisconsin law enforcement organizations sent a letter to Governor Tony Evers urging him to “discontinue and refrain from making statements and issuing press releases specific to the City of Kenosha Police involved shooting until the facts of the investigation are known.” The letter warned that statements made by Evers and then-Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes were “premature, judgmental, inflammatory, and only add to the anger and divisiveness of an already dangerous situation.”
The Kenosha Professional Police Association represents rank-and-file Kenosha police officers.

The pic of Tiffany with Zoerner was enough to make sure I’m going to vote for Schoemann.
I’m so over these fricking RINOS.
The party is pushing Tiffany too hard, and they’re a bunch of RINO hacks.
Anyone the union endorses should worry you.
I’ll vote for him but that’s a terrible name for governor
This must upset the idiot Kenosha Firefighter Union guy on tv complaining that food prices are too high because of tariffs. What are you eating caviar and truffles?
I cringe every time that stupid ad comes on. What an embarrassment to Kenosha, showing the world it’s still overly populated by dark blue idiots who can’t see past their own nose. They bring in huge bucks, but have five kids, and he’s complaining about food prices that are basically the same as Biden left them. I’ll bet no one saw him auditioning for commercials during Biden’s term complaining about anything. Just an embarrassment to the city. If this is the way the rest of the fire department feels, we’re in for at least 4 years of basement-saver jokes.
My first thought when I saw that commercial was …. that has to be an impostor/actor
to be spouting such nonsense.
Check out Tiffany’s record. Zoerner will take a pic with anyone who might help him. Zoerner needs to go
I will take Tiffany any day over that horrible Evers
