KENOSHA, Wis. — If 35-year-old Janna K. Mikulecky had simply accepted the consequences of what prosecutors say was her second drunk driving offense, she would have been facing months. Instead, authorities allege she tried to buy her way out of jail by offering a Kenosha Police officer $3,000 — and now she’s staring down the possibility of up to six years in prison on a felony bribery charge on top of the OWI penalties .

That’s a rough looking 35.
Had she had the 3k on hand, she would’ve walked
Absolutely!!!
Just tell the judge she identifies as a lobbyist.
Her bribe might have worked if she offered sex instead of money.
A$$ was not an option for her…
Let’s not get carried away here.
You can’t fix drunk and stupid.
You forgot fat
I bet the liberal activist amateur substitute court commissioner Henry would snatch up that bribe
I’m so gratified that the bribe attempt was refused and reported. The officer reporting it should be commended for that.
In some countries like China and India apparently any transaction requires a bribe. Mexico is rife with it outside the tourist hotspots. We can be proud that with as many problems as the US has, at least bribing law enforcement is still unacceptable.
And the bail should be $3000 at least, bc she had that much for the bribe.
