KENOSHA, Wis. — Rolando Q. Gonzales, 62, of Kenosha, appeared in court on December 26, 2025, where prosecutors detailed a shocking and violent domestic assault case accusing him of repeatedly beating a woman with a metal bar, punching her numerous times, choking her, and pushing her down a flight of stairs. Despite the brutal allegations, Supplemental Court Commissioner Aileen Henry set his bail at only $2,500 cash. Gonzales is scheduled to return to court on January 2, 2026, for a preliminary hearing.

This man has had a rough life from the beginning. He used to go with his parents to harvest crops at a very young age. He was deprived of an education system that failed him. His father had no education but was a hard worker raising a family in impoverished conditions. Rolando’s older sister, Maria passed too soon from breast cancer. His younger sister has been housed liked a vegetable after being the victim of gang rape. Rolando took me to see her once and she was unrecognizable compared to the young friendly girl she was. Their parents have past and Rolando was left to fend for himself, often relying on the kindness of strangers and those who would take advantage of his situation. Alcohol has not been kind to anyone but leaves us desperate. I will pray for his recovery and hope he finds the inner innocence he once wore with a smile. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray for all involved because we are all in this together to find the correct way .
