Instacart Shopping Trip By Kenosha Couple Ends In Criminal Charges After Cold Food Left Out To Spoil

KENOSHA, Wis. — A 42-year-old Kenosha man, identified in court records as Aaron J. Funk of Kenosha, was in court and charged today after an Instacart shopping trip at Woodman’s allegedly ended with carts of cold food left unattended in an aisle, causing the groceries to spoil. Supplemental Court Commissioner Aileen Henry set his bail at $500 cash, and Funk is due back in court for a pre-trial conference on February 11, 2025.

    1. Exactly. They were either doing it to be jerks to Woodmans. They should not be allowed to work for Instacart anymore and banned from Woodmans. Even in the event of an emergency they could have pushed the cart to the checkout area and left. They should absolutely be responsible for the cost. Ratchet behavior.
