KENOSHA, Wis. — The City of Kenosha will offer residents a chance to safely dispose of sensitive paperwork during a free document shredding event scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, at three locations across the city.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be held at the Northside Library, 1500 27th Ave.; the Southwest Library, 7979 38th Ave.; and the Kenosha Water Utility, 4401 Green Bay Road. Shredding will be performed on site by representatives from Shred-It.

Kenosha residents may bring up to five bags or boxes of documents for secure shredding. The program is intended to help residents protect themselves from identity theft while providing a convenient way to dispose of personal records.
Additional shredding dates have already been scheduled for later in the year, with events planned for Saturday, June 27, 2026, and Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026. Hard drive destruction will also be available at the Kenosha Water Utility location during the June 27 event
