This is so sad. Praying for that young man. He has a long road ahead of him for recovery. My son broke his femur in an accident that was not caused by him. He had two surgeries and a lot of therapy. He came through it well. Wishing the best for this young man and his family.

The Case Workers in the hospital will do the paperwork to apply for Medicaid.
Routine for this kind of patient with no insurance
He can probably get help from the state. This happened to a cousin and she had no insurance and she is now on disability. She was only 18 when it happened,she is 38 now.
