KENOSHA, Wis. — The live finals of the Diva Quest 2026 vocal music scholarship competition will take place Saturday, Jan. 31, at 3 p.m. at Journey Church in Kenosha, bringing together 10 high school finalists from Wisconsin and Illinois to compete for scholarship awards.

All 10 finalists will perform both collectively and as soloists, with their performances evaluated by a panel of judges and a live voting audience. The event will also feature performances by the Naturals of Marquette University, the Riverport Chorus, and 2025 Diva Quest winner Yocelin Valdez.
The finalists for Diva Quest 2026 are Amareli Arias of Westosha Central High School; Daniella Berti, Elle Kinney, Avery Meachum, Adele Thornton, Scarlett Towry, and Ariana Wine of Wilmot Union High School; Kendra Meyer of Waukesha South High School; Emma Robers of Elkhorn Area High School; and Aly Vega of Antioch Community High School.
Diva Quest is a nonprofit vocal scholarship competition that has operated since 2007, offering high school girls the opportunity to showcase their singing abilities while competing for financial awards to support post-high school education. According to organizers, last year’s winner received $1,750 in scholarship funds, with additional awards distributed to runners-up.
In advance of the finals, the top 10 finalists have participated in coaching and mentoring sessions led by experienced musicians, music educators, and performers, focusing on song selection, vocal presentation, and overall performance skills.
Tickets for the finals show are available through Diva Quest finalists, Riverport Chorus members, or online. General admission is $20 in advance or $25 at the door, with free admission for children ages 10 and under. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
Diva Quest is presented by the Riverport Chorus, which marked its 60th anniversary in 2024 and is affiliated with Sweet Adelines International. Singing women interested in joining the chorus are welcome to attend rehearsals, which are held Monday evenings at Wilmot Union High School.
