PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — Two Village of Pleasant Prairie trustee seats will be on the ballot in the spring election, Trustee No. 2 and Trustee No. 4, according to official candidate filings.
Trustee No. 2 incumbent Mike Pollocoff is running uncontested. Pollocoff is a liberal, a longtime village trustee, and previously served as Pleasant Prairie’s village administrator. No challenger filed to run against him for the seat.
Trustee No. 4 will be contested. Incumbent James M. Kedrow, also a liberal, has filed for re-election. He is being challenged by Samara A. Lancia, a newcomer to village politics.

Why is Pollocoff running other than protecting his interest?
James Kedrow is not a so-called “liberal.” He was one of the first candidates elected who wasn’t one of the “good old boys.”
Samara A. Lancia is NOT a newcomer to village politics. She is a current member of the Plan Commission and was a previous member of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Only favorites of the eternal Pleasant Prairie ruling oligarchy get appointed to these positions. Kedrow was an outsider to the ruling clique, but votes with them too often.
MP needs to go, time for new blood. People of the village just keep letting those good ole boys control sh!t, despite bitching about them to no end.
I’m glad MP is willing to continue to serve our community. MP was an amazing Village Administrator and brings experience and a historical perspective. He’s one of five votes.
An earlier comment indicated the MP was running to protect his personal interest. I love these Keyboard Cowboys who hide their identity and throw a lot of irresponsible smack out. Offer up your proof. I’m sure KM would love to publish something. That’s the challenge. PUT UP OR SHUT UP.
Why are you not signing your name? You write about identity show your name!
Thanks Mike for your opinion of yourself.
How about MP didnt ask for an outside audit of the village after John jr getting charged or asking senior to step down because of his son.
He wrote a letter supporting jr. why ask sr to step down.
