PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — The Village of Pleasant Prairie has officially appointed David Selvidge as its next police chief, with village officials announcing the decision during Monday night’s Village Board meeting. Selvidge will be formally sworn in on Jan. 19, 2026, and will begin his duties that same day, marking the start of a planned leadership transition within the Pleasant Prairie Police Department.

It is likely that the Village of Pleasant Prairie’s new police chief has both a REAL bachelor’s and master’s degree. That is unlike the City of Kenosha’s former police chief John Morrissey, who had a FAKE bachelor’s degree. Instead of being ashamed for being deceived by Morrissey’s con, Kenosha City officials still allow him to be the city administrator. And people wonder why Kenosha is so corrupt.
