BRISTOL, Wis. — A male Bristol School District teacher was found to have asked a female student to come in before school to braid his hair and allowed students to hang on him and play with his hair at school-related events, according to investigative and disciplinary records obtained by Kenosha County Eye through a public records request.

Is not a trainable trait and this is evident since this college-educated Individual obviously is lacking any common sense
It has to be statistically impossible that 1 county has this many teacher/student grooming situations. We have to be approaching catholic church or Boy Scout levels of these situations.
Public schools are way worse than catholic churches, not even a competition.
Wishful unsupported thinking.
Actually very supported data. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out which group has the greater opportunities. Public schools are target rich environments.
Please provide a link to this data.
Very supported
Ok. You and others say that. However, please provide link to a study or article from a reputable source. If it is “very supported” you should be able to easily cite something, anything.
No links were provided because the data they cite does not exist.
perhaps they were studying cosmetology
Sounds like hair-assment to me
I like it .
Par for the course
Just liberals doing liberal things.
A picture of the teacher is needed to settle a wager.
I bet you lost.
It seems that Shana Lewis and her firm have been making a good living giving out bad advice to school districts and then billing them for the time needed to clean up the mess. Nice business model…as long as they can get away with it.
Grooming 101
If we keep heading in the direction there may be no public education, or at least a very poor semblance of what it used to be. We need old fashioned strict teachers, yes, but ALSO we need strict administration with strict rules, holding both teachers/staff AND students accountable for their words and actions, as they used to. Otherwise, it’s hard for a teacher to be strict when nobody backs him or her, there is no power behind the teacher. But what do I know, a student in a Racine school can light a garbage can on fire in the boys room, and be sent home but can resume schooling the very next day and hardly any consequences… BY JOVE! what a lovely state of affairs public education is in.
I noticed it starting 40 years ago ……… and it’s gotten worse ever since ..
Me too, 30 years ago working as an educational assistant in KUSD!
Why can no district address why there is an “achievement gap” between demographics? Should be easy to say the teachers offer an equivalent curriculum to every public school student, and they don’t “teach more or better” to different demographics.
If the deficit is not with the teachers teaching, it almost has to be in the “receiving” end.
All we know is they need MORE MONEY to continue the disparate results that they can’t identify the cause of.
There seems to be an epidemic going on, that’s being shielded by the acronyms LGBTQ & DEI. What purpose do they serve in our society? Sexual preference/deviance are blurred lines that have no place in a school setting. Public School Districts (Democrats)would rather not be bothered to protect kids from pedo’s and in fact do their best to protect the pedo’s that they hired! DEI is an attempt to validate the corrupt & lazy Democrats! There’s no need to push forward the idea that everyone is inherently racist and that skin color should determine any desired outcomes. Your morals and work ethic are far more important than skin color. Yet here we are forcing DEI down everyone’s throat!
How soon before we can fully dismantle the fraudulent School Districts?? If you’re a good teacher, you’ll do just dine in the private sector!
It seems to me that if you have to give anyone a formal written letter that says your pupils can’t braid your hair YOU’VE LOST THE PLOT!!
KUSD one of the cesspools of education in this great state.
Unions only protect the offenders. The great teachers have no need of protection
Society is broken. Come Lord Jesus!
Just the “Bristol School District 1” portion of my property tax bill is over $5,500 for my current tax bill. That was not a typo, $5,500 just for the Bristol School portion. PLUS another $900 per year until 2042 from a referendum. This is what my $6,400 goes toward every year? Ridiculous.
wow! No way would I put my kids in these pedo pubic schools!
Yes, pedo private sectarian schools are much better.
Bristol needs to revamp their hiring practices. They hire unqualified, incompetent and weird employees. It’s like a joke in that building from the Administration down to the teachers no one is doing their job properly.
That warning letter sure made that child feel safe. They reported the incident and then nothing really happened. The perv got a warning letter. That child has to see the perv every school day like what happened to them didn’t matter. How is that a safe learning environment? I don’t feel safe having my child there. What else is Bristol School hiding?
