Editor’s note: Shortly after publication of this story, Jennifer Bonnes posted a public response on Facebook disputing several of the allegations described in Racine Unified School District records. At the bottom of this story is a PDF of many of the records relied upon.
KENOSHA, Wis. — A first-grade teacher at KTEC School of Innovations — an independent charter school that is not part of the Kenosha Unified School District — previously left the Racine Unified School District under a negotiated separation agreement following an administrative investigation, according to public records obtained by Kenosha County Eye.

Yawn.
1st graders are “lucky” according to Petey here. Amazing buffoon.
Yeah you intelligent idiot
I’m not allowed near schools
… against resigning in lieu of firing !
Amanda ?! Are you reading this story ????
Come on Amanda ! You are somewhat prolific in figuring out laws to bring forth.
This is one you need to author.
Teachers can’t resign once an investigation is started. If they are deemed not employable going forward, they must be fired. Not allowed to Resign !!
This is a state position and they do allow resignation so they do not lose a pension. If terminated, pension is lost. Its the way it is.
And the very reason they should be fkn fired
I very much agree with this. This lady is a nut job and should never work with kids again.
With the Legal Threat of Losing a Pension it creates the very DETERRENT that is missing and needed in society to curb these actions by these lost people.
If a person such as this truly doesn’t understand where the line is in understanding their interactions with children then let an example of this person losing a pension be the one to help them understand in the future !
What I’m saying here is that while the law states a person shouldn’t lose a life long pension for a single mistake or misunderstanding there still needs to be a harsh penalty for others where it’s not a single mistake and those who still don’t understand.
Deterrents take time to become effective. Examples like this need to take hold for society to change as a whole in how adults interact with children.
Let a new law or modification of existing laws start here because of this example.
Again, Amanda. Are you listening ??
I second this. It might be what it is now, but it needs to be changed.
I hate paying for pedophiles retirement.
that’s why she should have been fired
This is a state of wisconsin position and that’s how they roll. It’s not going to change anytime soon.
Disgusting! These schools are so desperate for teachers they don’t care about their backgrounds, certifications or abilities. And then when they find out they hired a bad teacher they let them move to a different school, resign or give them a warning letter. What a joke!
Just like priests
… is find a Job where her perception, understanding and compassion to interact and teach children more aligns with her perceived methods
That could be in a private setting of a school for challenged children or even as a Nanny in an individual home.
By her writing and words above she wants to nurture but not be a nurse. She wants the clean parts of working with children without the dirty diapers.
She is describing working with children who need constant care and attention but not the overall hard work that is required by that position.
I believe she could find a job somewhere where her methods would be accepted. But a public school setting is not that.
Maybe she could operate a daycare in Minnesota? That way she wouldn’t come in contact with any kids but she could still make so much money that she wouldn’t need her pension.
Got gonna lie, she is hot. At the end of the day I stand on what I said
Yes, but what did you say?
I can see her perspective; being a very kind caring old school teacher that wants to nurture and foster compassion. But I can also see the public sector, or the general public view; she is a potential threat to children. I don’t know enough information to make a judgment (partly because I’m not subscribed to KCE articles so I don’t know the whole story) but I can say she, like others, has been walking a fine line and like a fine line, can easily fall over on the wrong side and lead to calamity and public disgrace. But, this is the way of the world, and not saying what’s right or what’s wrong, and not to sound preachy but on God can truly judge her and all others. I hope she learns her place in society, as we all need to.
*only God
Amazing when pedos think god put them in that position.
It is easier to paint a picture of someone than to look at oneself in the mirror. It is only human, but thank God for Jesus and his endless saving grace.
My child was in her 4th grade class at Wadewitz/RUSD when she “resigned”. I can name quite a few inappropriate things that happened in her classroom that year. Also, the only thing that I am aware of that she actually taught the kids that year was the definition of “teabagging” was. I also know that RUSD quietly let her resign with NO explanation to parents. In fact I am unaware of them ever informing anybody that there was an investigation. In fact, the day they called my child in for questioning thy called me and told me it was “a review for new hire teachers to see how they were doing in the classroom”. My child came home and told me they only asked about inappropriate behaviors. And then she was gone. NO explanation, just a bunch of substitutes trying to salvage what they could of that school year.
