On Sunday, Feb. 1, Kenosha County Eye published a story stating that Kenosha County Circuit Court’s local rule governing photography in court facilities had been changed. That statement was incorrect.
After re-reviewing the applicable local court rules, Kenosha County Eye has confirmed that the language governing courtroom photography was not changed. The prior story was based on an error caused by relying on the wrong versions of local court rules. Multiple versions of those rules have existed over the years, and I also maintain copies of local rules from other counties. In this case, I got it wrong.
Because the central factual premise of the story was false, the article has been removed.
Mistakes happen, particularly when dealing with overlapping and frequently revised court rules, but it is important to correct the record promptly and transparently when they do. I regret the error and apologize to readers for the mistake.

Meanwhile Kenosha exposed is still bias and stupid
Ha right! As soon as I see caputo and berg comment I know the whole group and page are full of shit and criminals. What’s amazing is she posts about the DA, crime and cases while she is facing criminal charges and her butt buddy berg is facing multiple felonies and lost his kid. That page is a joke
so you are saying this isn’t biased?
lol, if you don’t think this leans right y’all are just being ignorant. I’m losing respect for my own party
This page isn’t all about one person like Kenosha exposed obsessed
I didn’t read where he said that. I’m not even sure that being biased is a bad thing, if one is biased towards rule of law and telling the truth.
Kevin,
Thank you for the admission of error (so rare now-a-days), timely correction, and honest explanation of facts.
Good on you for clarifying!
Thanks Kevin! You’re literally one of a kind in the Journalism’s Industry!
