KENOSHA, Wis. — Court Commissioner William “Bargain Bail Billy” Michel II has modified the bond conditions for former Kenosha County supervisor Andrew A. Berg, clarifying no-contact restrictions in a way that allows Berg to return to his Kenosha residence, while leaving his $75,000 cash bail unchanged.
The modification, filed Feb. 9, follows a handwritten motion Berg submitted in January in which he asked the court to permit him to live at his home despite strict no-contact conditions tied to the case. Berg argued that law enforcement had instructed him he could not step foot on his property, even though his co-defendant did not reside there, effectively barring him from accessing his own home .
In that motion, Berg said the restriction prevented him from selling personal property to raise attorney fees, including a motorcycle he said he won while serving in Afghanistan, a trailer on his property, and a large baseball card collection. He also cited the age and medical conditions of his parents, stating they were physically unable to assist with removing or selling those items. Berg further claimed that while he was in custody, someone entered his home on multiple occasions and left it in disarray .
Under the amended bond, Berg’s $75,000 cash bail remains in place, but the no-contact language was revised and clarified. The updated order specifies that Berg may not have direct, indirect, electronic, or third-party contact with his co-defendant, the child victim’s mother, or another named individual, while no longer broadly prohibiting contact “including the residence” in a manner that barred him from returning to his own home .
The practical effect of the change is that Berg is now permitted to reside at his Kenosha address, provided he strictly complies with the no-contact conditions and all other bond requirements.
In addition to the no-contact provisions, the amended bond continues to prohibit Berg from consuming alcohol, possessing weapons, or possessing drug paraphernalia. He is also required to appear at all court dates and avoid committing any new crimes while the case is pending .
The amended bond order also sets a new court date. Berg is scheduled to return to court on March 24.
The underlying criminal case against Berg remains pending.

Is court ordered drug testing provided by WCS still used as a bond condition? I was charged with disorderly conduct and while on bond was required to get my butt downtown for weekly drug testing.. Did the county do away with that Unconstitutional program? I don’t see that listed as a bond condition… Kid gloves for parttime porn star.
