TWIN LAKES, Wis. — An Illinois woman accused of driving while intoxicated with a minor child in her vehicle was released without having to post any money after appearing in Kenosha County Circuit Court, where Court Commissioner William “Bargain Bail Billy” Michel II ordered a signature bond with no cash bail.
Kaitlyn A. Krigers, 37, of Richmond, Illinois, is charged with first-offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence with a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle, a misdemeanor stemming from a Jan. 30 traffic stop in the Village of Twin Lakes. Despite the allegation involving a child passenger, Michel allowed Krigers to remain free while the case proceeds through the court system.
