Kenosha Man Charged in New OWI Case While Already on Bond for Third Offense, Faces Potential Felony if Convicted

KENOSHA, Wis. — Eddie C. Valdez, 67, of Kenosha, was charged Wednesday with Operating While Intoxicated (3rd Offense) after Kenosha police say he crashed into a utility pole and showed signs of impairment. Court Commissioner William “Bargain Bail Billy” Michel II set a $2,500 cash bail. Valdez is due back in court on April 17 for a final pretrial. This is at least his fourth arrest for OWI.

  2. When I was younger, people often got off with warnings for drunk driving. Now they get arrested but there’s really no serious penalty. Maybe in 30 more years they’ll get arrested AND there will be real jail time for it.
