Fonder, 25, of Zion, Illinois, was ordered held on a combined $100,500 cash bail Thursday after prosecutors charged him with a violent carjacking at a Pleasant Prairie hotel, a 19.5-mile police chase that reached 117 miles per hour, and an outstanding Illinois felony warrant. He is due back in court Feb. 19 for a preliminary hearing.
