KENOSHA, Wis. — Families who wish to honor a loved one at the Kenosha Youth Memorial have until April 1 to submit brick orders for installation this summer, city officials announced Thursday.
According to a press release from the Mayor’s Office , personalized memorial bricks ordered by the deadline will be installed in time for the annual dedication ceremony scheduled for June at the Kenosha Youth Memorial in Wolfenbüttel Park, 5901 Third Ave.
The memorial offers a permanent tribute to young people who have passed away, providing a space for reflection and remembrance within the community. Each engraved brick includes the name of the deceased individual, along with his or her year of birth and year of death.
Brick orders are accepted year-round, but only those submitted by April 1 will be included in this summer’s installation. To ensure placement next to one another, bricks honoring multiple family members must be purchased at the same time.
The cost is $125 per brick. Payment may be made by cash, credit card, or check payable to the City of Kenosha.
Order forms are available at kenosha.org and should be mailed to:
Kenosha Youth Memorial
625 52nd St., Room 300
Kenosha, WI 53140
City officials encourage residents to submit orders early to guarantee placement in this year’s ceremony.
