KENOSHA, Wis. — A student at LakeView K-8 Academy threatened to bring a weapon to school at the end of the school day Thursday, prompting an immediate investigation by school officials and the Kenosha Police Department.
According to a message sent to families by Principal Mr. Creel, the threat was made “in a moment of frustration,” and administrators contacted law enforcement as soon as they became aware of it .
“The individual responsible is known, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken,” Creel wrote to families, adding that school officials do not believe students or staff are in danger .
The incident occurred at the end of the school day. School leaders emphasized that student and staff safety remains their top priority and said all threats are taken seriously and thoroughly investigated .
Creel also urged parents to speak with their children about the seriousness of making threats and the lasting consequences such actions can carry .
An anonymous tip submitted to Kenosha County Eye expressed concern about the wording used in the school’s communication, particularly the phrase “moment of frustration,” noting that even a brief lapse in judgment can have serious consequences.
No additional details about the student’s age, potential charges, or disciplinary action have been released as of Thursday evening.

Many mass murderers would like to claim a moment of frustration and a temporary lapse in judgment.
I certainly hope he is removed from this selective school.
He shouldn’t be allowed in any school. He should be sent to the military and they will slap him upside the head and set him straight! I hope his parents or parent take note and get him some help!
