    1. Snap judgments, assumptions and bias based on appearance is not racism. Everyone needs to get a damn dictionary…..teacher included. No wonder everything is racism or racist now a days. This is ridiculous.

This is why there are teachers for each specific class. Leave the sociology to the people who actually went to school for it and not chemistry teachers. What a moron to even try and approach this subject in a classroom. Let alone to hold a class discussion on the subject.

        1. All Blk men do not look like thugs or harmful, at least not the men at my church, my mayor, my Doctor, my lawyer, our preachers, our teachers, our coaches. I cannot take this madness.

    2. I find it really intriguing that you can clearly hear a young black man in the background of the video say “Well she’s right” in regards to the teachers statement. I had Amanda as a teacher and she was always great, she’s allowed to express an opinion. Teenagers want to be adults so badly but clearly can’t handle adult conversations. We won’t talk about the English teacher with black children openly used the hard ‘R’ in class. Or when I was a student, the cheerleading scandal 😂 Please. The girl that posted the video only hangs out with white girls. How shocking 😂 transfer to Bradford if it’s that serious.

      1. what does her hanging out with white girls have to do with anything? you don’t know her life she could have more people in her life not that it’s any of your business

  1. It is baffling to me why teachers decide to indulge students by getting into any debate with them. In 2026. There is no upside to it.

Stick with explaining the atomic numbers of Ag and Au and what compounds are soluble vs insoluble…….

  2. The kid claiming to not judge anyone ever is a liar. All these kids are naive. And the teacher shouldn’t even attempt to broaden the minds of these kids. It’s not worth it.

    2
    1. i am not a liar thank you very much! i am a person of color and that conversation made me very uncomfortable so i have the right to recorded in a situation where i feel unsafe you do not know the full story so dont speak on it.

        1. mind u this isn’t even the whole video so don’t speak on stuff that you don’t know anything about. and you are so weird for hating on a child just so you know

          15
      1. Miss, thank you for taking the video. Will you kindly post it on YouTube (the entire 20 minute video); please also share the handle or link below. I think others are privy to see it so we can continue to determine the safety (psychological, emotional, physical) of our kids within KUSD in a way he did not know we had to. Thank you!!! If the full 20 has already been released publicly, please link if you or anyone are able to locate that information.

  3. And why is a student recording? students are not supposed to have their cell phones out during class. So she is not supporting district policy? Back in the day, chemistry classes were pretty rigid to assure a safe environment.

    1. “Back in the day” newflash grandma it’s 2026. Cell phones are a thing now, as well as school shootings. Welcome to planet earth!

      8

    2. because they can! if a teacher is blatantly being racist to MY face (yes i’m the girl in the video) she said more stuff to me in a video that was TWENTY SEVEN MINS LONG she talks about white power and racist stuff and telling me i don’t know what racism is.

      9
      23
        1. the full video was sent to the principal and i feel like if i posted the full video i would go through the same backlash i am seeing now. as much as i would want to send the full video this is what i get because of a single clip

  4. Self preservation is not a crime.

Also: Why does kpd/ksd list everyone who is not “Black/African American” as “White” on the bookings page.
    Curious!

  5. I am also racist against any low life piece of shit who are a burden on society. Any color, white, black, brown or yellow, I do not discriminate.

    21
    5
  6. As an educator, to multiple kids coming in and out of class whether they’re black white, any type of minority, what makes it okay to voice any opinion that you might have. Many people don’t have any professionalism manners.
Any one who supports this should be ashamed. She need to be held accountable. This isn’t the 1930s, we’re in 2026.

    17
    6
  7. To say “I’m aware I have personal biases and I double check to make sure they don’t lead me to improper judgments” is a totally uncontroversial thing. Nobody hears about it. Video not even made.

For a white teacher to say “I’m racist” and then expect people of color to be comfortable in her class seems crazy.

    7
    3
    1. Mist people don’t even understand the meaning of racist, vs, racism, vs prejudice is amazing to me. Each term has a different meaning.

    1. Black people can’t be racist. How can you be racist when your only reacting to the racism they have suffer from for 100s of years & still do in 2026. Whites are the racist 1’s here and everywhere else in the world

      0
      33
  8. sending rude and mean comments about the children is disgusting.
i know the person who recorded it and the teacher got in her face and told this shit to her. you act like this teacher is a saint but you guys don’t know the full fucking story of having her and knowing her.
get ur heads out of ur asses thank you

    11
    7
  9. This is what they’re talking about in chemistry class. No wonder Chinese kids are kicking our ass. I know, the school needs more money so they can talk about chemistry in chemistry class.

    19
  10. 1. To anyone calling the children names or degrading them . You are disgusting. Don’t attack children or tell them how to feel.
    2. This teacher has been racist. Used sexually demeaning terms for black male students, talks about her support for hate organizations, hates on staff members of color unless she’s doing them (more on that below) also I think she jealous of her students. She talks about how she was never the pretty girl blah blah blah. Shes too old for that whiny chick nonsense
    3. She was a main participant in the Tremper freaky swinger club and she considers her self top shelf trade in the swapping department. Some of this stuff did happen at school btw… bjs for everyone!!

So uf you are pro racist, pro sexual things happening around children, or pro having a teacher literally so close to you kid as they scream at them that the spit and whatever else was in her mouth flying out on kids faces I say Keep defending her. To the young girl who recorded….smart move. Ignore the haters who defend people who hurt or do sexual things in a childrens area/school.

    11
    14
  11. Not sure how this came up in Chemistry class but seems pretty clear the kids are baiting her here. And I don’t see that she really said anything wrong.

I could never be a teacher these days. And not because of the cameras but because of the lack of respect

    14
    3
  12. Pissed for the teacher here. No she shouldn’t have engaged but she didn’t say anything wrong. Her privacy violated here too.

Who would want to teach these days

    8
    5
  13. Teachers are attacked from every angle. Like all public employees. It’s in vogue these days. Attack anything community or public. Exalt all privatization of everything. Destroy anything human for exploitation and profit.

    5
    1
    1. “Did nothing wrong” and its a teacher blatantly expressing how she’s racist in a room full of colored children, when she’s supposed to be TEACHING CHEMISTRY! Use your brain Brandon.

      4
      4
  14. I don’t have the full context, but from what I heard, this is my opinion. As a chemistry teacher, she stepped into a nuanced social discussion that requires careful language, and one that should have been better left to peers trained to have these types of discussions. I believe she was referring to inherent or unconscious biases – the automatic assumptions all humans develop, and not overt racism. While unexamined biases can contribute to racist outcomes, it’s wrong to jump from acknowledging that everyone has inherent biases to that means everyone is racist. Bias is often unintentional and shaped by experience; racism involves prejudice or discrimination based on race. Conflating the two only clouds a very important conversation. While she should be admonished for venturing into a conversation clearly out of her scope, I’m not so sure she understood the meaning of the words she chose to use when she admitted to being racist.

    10
    1. Only intelligent comment on this post. I would like to add that she had no business broaching the subject no matter what demographic her classroom was comprised of. Wrong time, wrong place and she is getting what is coming to her. If the multiple comments here referencing her getting in a student’s face aggressively are remotely accurate, she needs to be held accountable for that alone. I’m not reading that there was any reason for that aggression…

      2
      1
  15. Wait there’s a swingers club at Tremper? What in the heck is going on with KUSD…. doesn’t anyone have any morals now a days?

    1
    1
  16. i think it’s crazy how people are supporting the teacher, ESPECIALLY if they watched the video, and if they’re agreeing that the girl who recorded is ‘ghetto’. Genuinely, if you agree with this teacher’s behavior, you’ve GOT to be a white racist p*do. It’s the fact that the majority of that class is colored, too.
