1. To anyone calling the children names or degrading them . You are disgusting. Don’t attack children or tell them how to feel.
2. This teacher has been racist. Used sexually demeaning terms for black male students, talks about her support for hate organizations, hates on staff members of color unless she’s doing them (more on that below) also I think she jealous of her students. She talks about how she was never the pretty girl blah blah blah. Shes too old for that whiny chick nonsense
3. She was a main participant in the Tremper freaky swinger club and she considers her self top shelf trade in the swapping department. Some of this stuff did happen at school btw… bjs for everyone!!
So uf you are pro racist, pro sexual things happening around children, or pro having a teacher literally so close to you kid as they scream at them that the spit and whatever else was in her mouth flying out on kids faces I say Keep defending her. To the young girl who recorded….smart move. Ignore the haters who defend people who hurt or do sexual things in a childrens area/school.

I don’t have the full context, but from what I heard, this is my opinion. As a chemistry teacher, she stepped into a nuanced social discussion that requires careful language, and one that should have been better left to peers trained to have these types of discussions. I believe she was referring to inherent or unconscious biases – the automatic assumptions all humans develop, and not overt racism. While unexamined biases can contribute to racist outcomes, it’s wrong to jump from acknowledging that everyone has inherent biases to that means everyone is racist. Bias is often unintentional and shaped by experience; racism involves prejudice or discrimination based on race. Conflating the two only clouds a very important conversation. While she should be admonished for venturing into a conversation clearly out of her scope, I’m not so sure she understood the meaning of the words she chose to use when she admitted to being racist.
Only intelligent comment on this post. I would like to add that she had no business broaching the subject no matter what demographic her classroom was comprised of. Wrong time, wrong place and she is getting what is coming to her. If the multiple comments here referencing her getting in a student’s face aggressively are remotely accurate, she needs to be held accountable for that alone. I’m not reading that there was any reason for that aggression…

i think it’s crazy how people are supporting the teacher, ESPECIALLY if they watched the video, and if they’re agreeing that the girl who recorded is ‘ghetto’. Genuinely, if you agree with this teacher’s behavior, you’ve GOT to be a white racist p*do. It’s the fact that the majority of that class is colored, too.
