RACINE, Wis. — A Racine elected official will now represent Wisconsin on a national stage after being crowned Mrs. Wisconsin America 2026.
Grace Allen, a Racine woman who serves as an alderwoman on the Racine Common Council and a member of the Racine Unified School Board, was recently awarded the statewide title and will compete in the Mrs. America Pageant this August in Las Vegas. (City of Racine)
Allen represents Racine’s 9th District on the Common Council, where her current term runs through 2027, and has been active in local education leadership through her role on the school board. (City of Racine)
Organizers of the Wisconsin America Pageants say Allen brings a background in marketing, business management, education, and community engagement, positioning her as a leader focused on empowering women and strengthening families.
Her platform centers on wellness and self-care for women, particularly those balancing family and community responsibilities. She promotes the idea that “self-care is healthcare,” encouraging women to prioritize their physical, emotional, and financial well-being.
Through her initiative, “Makeup, Coffee, Money,” Allen aims to inspire women to build sustainable lives while maintaining personal health and stability, a message she is expected to take statewide and onto the national stage.
As Mrs. Wisconsin America, Allen will make appearances across Wisconsin before representing the state in the national competition later this year.

Wipe all that makeup off = not so gorgeous. These competitions should be natural beauty, not how much concealer you can pile on.
When have “Miss” or “Mrs” pageants ever been about natural beauty? It’s the look they can create w makeup, clothes, hair, etc everyone knows that.
Y’all complain regularly when the mug shots show natural looks and then complain when it’s someone who makes an effort. How much effort you put into the anppearance you offer the world? Think how your looks stack up before slamming someone else’s, huh? Shooot.
