Convicted Child Rapist Who Avoided Prison After Jury Trial Arrested on Probation Violation

KENOSHA, Wis. — A Kenosha man convicted by a jury of raping a child is back in custody after being arrested Thursday afternoon on a probation and parole warrant, years after Kenosha County Circuit Judge David Wilk allowed him to avoid prison and instead placed him on probation with jail time.

Jacob A. Hembel, 26, of Kenosha, was taken into custody March 19 on the warrant stemming from an alleged violation of his supervision.

Court records show Hembel was found guilty at a jury trial in July 2019 of first-degree sexual assault of a child under 12. The conviction stemmed from allegations that he engaged in repeated sexual conduct with a young child over an extended period of time.

Although the charge carried a potential sentence of up to 60 years in prison, the court imposed a 10-year prison sentence, followed by 15 years of extended supervision, but stayed that prison time and instead placed Hembel on 15 years of probation. He was also ordered to serve jail time as a condition of probation, which records indicate was largely satisfied through credit for time already served.

Hembel is required to register as a lifetime sex offender and is prohibited from having contact with minors or living in a residence with children.

His latest arrest stems from an alleged violation of those supervision rules. While details of the violation have not yet been released, the case raises renewed concerns about whether meaningful consequences will follow.

Cases like this are often handled administratively, and critics have pointed out that the Department of Corrections frequently declines to pursue full revocation, even in serious cases.

If his probation is revoked, Hembel would be ordered to serve the previously imposed 10-year prison sentence.

      1. Dead wrong…as dead as Nietzsche. The application of mathematical principle of the greater double negative done by the 2nd higher good against the 1st lesser evil to result in a higher, peaceful, moral justice is fully logical and justified by biblical and non-biblical history and with the blessing of heavenly protection. As it was – so it will be again in due course as history itself proves.

          1. Fully expected that the denial of a very unpleasant historical truth is instantly rejected by the conventional mind as too shocking to accept – and must be shouted down, mocked, and blocked their social alphas. And why history will repeat/rhyme violently in due course, with bad outcomes to the eyes-wide-shut willfull stupid.

              1. Only 3 thumbs up? I expected more. Perhaps a critical mass smartset silent majority does exist in Kenosha.

              1. Simple little brains need simple little sentences as if retarded at child level development. And are laughably impressed by their shockingly limited mental bandwidth and piss puddle shallow capacity.

    1. I think if you were are pro-death penalty, and you are completely pure and guiltless of ALL Evil and Wrongdoing, then YOU should be the appointed Pubic Executioner. If you are advocating for Death, then you pull the trigger/press that wood chipper button. Don’t be a coward and let someone else do the dirty work. You talk a big game about wood chippers and executions, but do you have the nerve to Do It? Do you? And look into their eyes, see them cry in agony as you slowly see them sink down into the machine and cry and wail in again?! Can you hear those screams? Can you do it, without a flinch? And you, again without Sin and casting the First Stone? In that case, DO IT, or stifle yourself. Wood Chipper Boy.

      1. You prob shouldn’t quote the Bible if you haven’t actually read it. A wood chipper is a modern-day millstone.

      2. In a heartbeat. I have no pity or remorse for someone willing to hurt or molest innocent children. We are supposed to protect them Johhny boy. It says more about you than it does me if you’re sympathetic to child molesters. I’m sure I’m not alone on this either. The only ones that feel mercy for these kind of creeps are Democrats. Which is why were in the position we are in now. If it was up to us, we’d be rid of these pieces of shit the minute they get convicted. But liberals are against the death pentaly, eye for an eye, harsher punishments for child molesters, and just soft on crime in general. So you go stifle yourself you lil tree jumper scum.

        1. The day is approaching when justice will be swift. But first the low rent and criminal clasd societal rot and its elitist political & legal administrative grifting garbage must be permanently co-disposed of. The social temperature to do it is not yet high enough to reach the Rittenhouse-level boil point to take out the trash.

        2. You’re wrong on the Dems being sympathetic to child abusers and the “us” you write about includes some Dems and some liberals. That may confuse you but go ahead paint everything you see black and white. That’s what simple minds tend to do.

  1. Give Mr. Woodchipper the job of Executioner (which may well happen in the the political/social polarity after it snaps) and he (and many angry others will gladly line up to be) will jump for it.

That said, this guy is toast and his life was over when put on 15 year probation, which he was never going to be able to complete anyway given how the system works.

  2. Dang, since you are so set against woodchipper boy, How would you feel if he raped your daughter or granddaughter, or you??? Hmmm I wonder?🤔 do you feel safe with this scum on the street?

  3. If only any of you knew the whole story. This young man was wrongly accused in the first place; of course no one knows that he was under the age of 12 when this allegedly happened, but yet charged as an adult. How f’d up is that and the court system for not allowing to share that information in the courtroom. They couldn’t even talk about the mother of the alleged victim. She was never around for the child. She just gave her child a device to watch to stay out of her way. At one point it was taken away from him by another adult because he was watching porn. The child’s mother was upset that it was taken away, she didn’t even know why, she was just out in her car getting stoned.
I heard stories as I sat in the hallway. I also sat in the courtroom to listen. You can’t always believe the reporters and news, they don’t know either.
The attorney that this young man had didn’t even try to defend him at all. I can only imagine how much they paid him to do nothing. That poor young man and his family and now he’s a sex offender the rest of his life. How unfair is this? All because no one wants to hear the whole story. Come on people seriously, grow up and listen.

    3
    3
    1. Yes , and some of us have had unbearable childhoods but that does not give you the right to rape anyone. If anything he should have learned from mistakes back then. He is 26 now? Im sure he has had some type of therapy in between? I don’t know..

    2. If so and he was only 12, then yes, this is very evil injustice – and Judge Wilk was likely boxed into a corner in sentencing. All sex offenses, even what were minor misdemeanors prior to Clinton 1994 Crime Bill, today are “Scarlet Letter” lifetime sentences that are designed to permanently destroy the accused.
However, ever since the mid-90s when the Hillary Clinton/AG Janet Reno faction set-up the National Sex Offender Management Industrial Complex, any accused, but particularly White males (whom Hillary/Janet viewed as existential White Supremacist Threats) who are caught in its snares, unless they can legally angle-out or outright escape successfully, are destroyed by the Complex.

      1. Even if he was only 12 he is still an offender and needs to be watched. He’s likely still watching porn and it’s further destroying what’s left of his pea brain. Lock his ass up or save us money with a wood chipper or a .50 cent rope.

      2. Exactly, people with their head up their ass only believe what’s being told and not know the whole story. I’ve known him since we were in school. His sister was upset about a prank at that he did at his high school graduation party and she got all butthurt and made up all this bullshit saying he raped her son. Jacob would never do anything to harm a child or anybody.

        1. Female accusers, when they cause great harm and ruin lives via the legal system’s imbalances, are rarely are held accountable for their evil. However, when they are, even much later in life, it is very sweet karmic justice.
