Inevitably this Bail jumper will again receive Bail.
Here’s another idea for our very citizen minded very successful Representative in Madison, Amanda Nedweski.
Amanda, this next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to increase the penalties for Bail Jumping.
First Let’s make the charge of Bail Jumping include the provision that to receive Bail on the charge of Bail Jumping, the next Bail amount MUST BE DOUBLE OF THE AMOUNT OF THE BAIL JUMPED !!
One of the biggest problems with Bail
Jumpers is that they continue to commit crimes while out on Bail. Then these replete offenders continue to get new Bail because that’s the way the overall laws are written. So instead of trying to set bail amounts at a minimum why not just require that at each and every arrest on Bail Jumping, the amount of Bail on the Jumped charge be Doubled. Since these court commissioners just let these same offenders go again and again let’s require the new Bail amounts be doubled of the previous amount specified. This takes that decision out of their hands.
$1,000. Bail turns to $2,000. Do it again and it becomes $4,000. ect. ect.
Eventually even Bargain Billy won’t be able to set low Bail’s even if he tries !!
Just a thought. Because what’s the point of Bail if Jumping Bail isn’t considered as a severe enough crime that it is all on its own.
Better yet, how about these so-called commissioners not being allowed to release these bail jumping idiots and keep them in jail until all cases are resolved!
Jump bail only once. Then no bail.
But what you will hear back is first, we don’t have enough jail space.
Second. We don’t have enough courts to give speedy trials. We’ll end up with people waiting in jail longer than the time they would receive if found guilty.
That part might actually even be illegal
There’s not enough room for them all!
Careful. Kenosha exposed will cry about this. Even tho she was called out for posting about a criminal and the lack of accountability. And then apologized after they commented because she was scared.
Repeated bail jumping on multiple cases AND multiple stolen items in the residence AND obvious IV drug use AND severe domestic abuse; but he gets $7500 bail? Why take ANY CHANCE he could be out on the street free to keep doing what he’s doing? His rights are more important than the rights of his theft and property damage victims and the woman he beat up to live in peace and safety? WTH?!?
Trash off streets!
Can’t wait for this idiot to be back out once the courts drop the ball again.
Dude a loser. He always getting out on bond. He’s on extended supervision and was found in an apartment with a dead woman yet he was released from custody because he was given a low bond and the department of corrections dropped their po hold he was being held on. I’ve known this guy for a long time and hes always getting out or getting sentenced to less than the bare minimum. Guess you can do whatever you want when you work with the police by feeding them info and doing other things.
