There is a guy in a wheelchair with a girl who writes all over the median with scriptures at the east side of the intersection at Woodmans. I love scripture, but to me, it looks trashy. He holds a sign up that says God Bless. It appears they are panhandling, which isn’t allowed in Pleasant Prairie. Either way, there are better ways to get your message out there and not make it seem like you are panhandling. If they are panhandling, using God’s scripture to justify it is wrong.

Recently I’ve been to a few restaurants/stores in Kenosha/Pleasant Prairie close to where panhandlers have appeared. Wednesday I was in restaurant and a panhandler was just leaving bathroom commode (male bathroom) was full of paper towels right after a guy, who was pretty scruffy was constantly flushing, opened door and went straight outside. Told an employee that I think that guy just plugged up your bathroom? He stated that recently, a couple of panhandlers working shifts down street have come in to use bathroom, and tend to trash it up by throwing paper towel and excessive TP around and in toilets, keeping all the water running, and throwing water all over floors and walls.” Said other places around area have same issue. LE has been called and they told manager and staff it is a trend happening since these individuals appeared around March, and since it is a public bathroom, all they could do is have someone “follow them in and just keep eye on them, and call if you see them vandalizing anything.”
Stopped into a restaurant in Pleasant Prairie after doing a bit of shopping yesterday (April 18) about 1:00 P.M. Went to go wash my hands and an employee was changing two rolls of toilet paper. I made the “ah, doing some paperwork” joke. He said,that he checked it at 11:00 when they opened, both rolls were full. A gentleman just told him few minutes ago men’s room was out of TP. He also told him, while he waited to use the stall; he heard another person constantly unrolling the paper for few minutes but never flushed or washed hands and left. Had a yellow backpack. He must have unrolled all stole all the TP. I told him I heard that, and vandalism going on around area bathrooms. He stated his Shift Boss told him “it’s happened before, if they need the TP that bad, let them have it; not worth making a scene.
