KENOSHA, Wis. — Leadership Kenosha will celebrate its 2026 graduating class next month while also honoring one of the community’s most active and respected leaders, Gateway Technical College’s Sabrina Morgan.
The annual Leadership Kenosha Graduation Celebration is scheduled for May 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Circa on Seventh in downtown Kenosha. The event will recognize the 2025-2026 cohort, made up of 19 leaders from 18 different organizations across the community.
This year’s Distinguished Alumnus Award will go to Sabrina Morgan, a 2019 Leadership Kenosha graduate who serves as Promise and SC Johnson STEM Scholars Program Coordinator at Gateway Technical College.
Morgan has built a reputation in Kenosha as one of the area’s most dedicated advocates for young people and educational opportunities. In addition to her work at Gateway, she has devoted significant time and energy to organizations including the Mahone Foundation, the Education Foundation of Kenosha, the UW-Parkside Foundation Board, and the UW-Parkside Alumni Association.
Leadership Kenosha officials described Morgan as a “dedicated and outstanding leader” who is deeply committed to helping local youth succeed. They also praised her as a tireless volunteer and community advocate who has made a lasting impact through her service to multiple organizations and causes.
Morgan is also a mother of two boys and has been recognized for instilling in them the same values of leadership, service and community involvement that have defined her own work. Leadership Kenosha called her a “dynamic change agent” whose efforts continue to strengthen Kenosha.
“Coming together as community leaders at the annual graduation celebration is something that I now always look forward to,” Leadership Kenosha Steering Committee Chairperson Marisa Markowski said. “It’s impactful to honor our community’s leaders and hear more about their experience. We invite you to come witness and celebrate their accomplishments!”
The graduating class includes representatives from organizations such as the Kenosha Police Department, Kenosha Fire Department, Gateway Technical College, UW-Parkside, United Way of Kenosha, Aurora Health Care, Uline, Educators Credit Union and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
The event will also include the presentation of a Best in Class Award, which goes to the alumni class with the highest attendance. The winning class will be allowed to donate $250 to a nonprofit organization of its choice.
Tickets for the event are available through April 30.
