KENOSHA, Wis. — A 28-year-old Kenosha woman and extreme left-wing activist who has a history of prior arrests — including a 2023 disorderly conduct arrest during a tense confrontation with police — is expected to be charged after authorities say she attacked her mother with a wire sculpture and dragged her by the hair during a violent domestic incident.

Devynn Grace Johnson, 28, of Kenosha, was arrested May 3, 2026, by the Kenosha Police Department on suspicion of battery and disorderly conduct, both with domestic abuse enhancers. According to jail records, she was booked just before noon and later released the same day after posting bond.
Court records show that on May 4, 2026, Kenosha County Circuit Court Commissioner Alexandra Smathers granted a temporary restraining order against Johnson following detailed allegations from her mother describing a physical attack inside their apartment in the 6500 block of 24th Avenue.
In the restraining order filing, Johnson’s mother at times refers to Johnson using both “she” and “they/them” pronouns, reflecting how the respondent is described in the document. The filing alleges the incident began around 10:30 a.m. when an argument escalated and Johnson began knocking artwork off shelves and shaking furniture. When the mother attempted to intervene, she claims Johnson grabbed a wire sculpture and struck her on the left side of her body.
The filing further alleges that as the mother attempted to walk away, Johnson grabbed her by the hair with both hands, pulled her backward, and repeatedly kicked her until both fell to the ground. The alleged assault continued on the floor, with the mother reporting pain to her neck, back, and head, along with visible bruising.
A witness statement included in the restraining order from Johnson’s father states he heard the argument from another room before being asked to call 911. He reported entering the living area and seeing Johnson allegedly grabbing her mother by the hair, dragging her to the ground, and kicking her. He said the attack stopped when he intervened, but that Johnson continued damaging property before leaving.
The restraining order filing also indicates that Johnson had been temporarily staying in the residence at the time of the incident.
Johnson has previously been involved in multiple police contacts. In August 2023, she was among a group of activists at the scene of an in-custody death in Pleasant Prairie, where she led chants toward law enforcement and was ultimately arrested and cited for disorderly conduct. Records from that incident also indicate she had prior arrests, including a 2019 case involving alleged battery and disorderly conduct that was not charged.
A criminal complaint in the current case has not yet been filed, but the case has been referred to prosecutors and charges are expected.

The most compassionate and right thing to do is lobotomize these drains on society. Open insane asylums again, they are tortured souls.
Yes. It would be compassionate and right to round up all people we don’t like. Put them in rail cars. Ship them to either Montana, or to the northern parts of what will soon be our 51st state of Canada. Once there, we can just exterminate all of them.
