Lake Geneva Woman Accused of Stealing More Than $132,000 From Salem Lakes Gaming and ATM Business to Feed Gambling Habit

SALEM LAKES, Wis. — A 45-year-old Lake Geneva woman is accused of stealing more than $132,000 from a Salem Lakes-based ATM and gaming business over a period of several years, allegedly using much of the money to fuel what she described to investigators as a near-daily gambling addiction. Court Commissioner William “Bargain Bail Billy” Michel II on Friday set cash bail at $5,000 for Michele T. Garreau after prosecutors requested $20,000 cash bail.

    1. You have asked right questions. The owner’s lack and lapsed accounting controls should be prioritized by the WI Dept of Revenue for a low blade, micro examination.
