KENOSHA, Wis. — Paul Mommaerts, the Tremper High School teacher who was suspended 10 days, demoted, and docked pay in 2024 for using the N-word in class and telling a student "fuck you," has been suspended again after students accused him of loudly asking a female student whether she had gotten her period, making a race-based comment to another student, and repeatedly comparing that student to his ex-wife. Mommaerts, who was described by one of his own students as a "man-child" in district records, received a five-day unpaid suspension following the latest investigation.

My daughter had him as a teacher 20 years ago. He seemed to me to be on the spectrum or something. He used to tell the class they were tur-rdds.

Sadly, few remember, I believe a female teacher at Bradford was let go. Students had used the term in class and she used it, allegedly incorporated it into the lesson. Hmmm double standard?short term memory? good ole boys network?
I switched classes in freshman year bc this man started cussing out God in class! He constantly made excuses to touch young girls hair and make racist comments to people in class. (My mother made sure I was removed.) After that he followed me to cheer practice and found out who my bf was at the time and started asking about me to him and whoever else he saw me with in the hallways.
