PADDOCK LAKE, Wis. — A Wisconsin-based dock manufacturer is expanding its presence in southeastern Wisconsin through a new partnership with a longtime local sporting goods retailer.
Geneva Dock, operated by GD Marine LLC, announced this month that it has established an authorized dealer location at Paddock Lake Sporting Goods in Paddock Lake. The agreement will bring Geneva Dock’s full line of extruded aluminum docks and accessories to a dedicated retail location in Kenosha County.
The partnership allows customers to view, purchase, and learn about Geneva Dock products in person at the well-known sporting goods store, which serves Paddock Lake, the Chain O’ Lakes area, and surrounding communities.
Geneva Dock traces its roots to 2014, when it was founded by a group of boating enthusiasts under the name Grizzly Dock. The company said it has grown over the past 12 years into a regional supplier of inland lake docks, building a reputation for quality construction, competitive pricing, and customer service. The company manufactures extruded aluminum dock systems designed for freshwater lakes and rivers throughout the Midwest.
“After growing up in Kenosha County, skiing on Paddock Lake, and buying bait from Randy at Paddock Lake Sporting Goods for more than 20 years, I couldn’t be more excited about this partnership,” said Ross Niemi, co-owner of GD Marine LLC. “Geneva Dock offers a best-in-class, competitively priced extruded aluminum dock system that has been refined and perfected over the past 12 years. We look forward to making it easier than ever for local lake families to get on the water.”
Paddock Lake Sporting Goods owner Randy Rogness said the partnership will help broaden the store’s offerings while supporting another Wisconsin company.
“We’re excited to expand our product line here at Paddock Lake Sporting Goods by becoming an authorized Geneva Dock dealer,” Rogness said. “It’s great to partner with another Wisconsin-based company, and we’re proud to connect our customers with a quality product that’s built for lakes just like ours.”
According to the company, the new dealer agreement reflects Geneva Dock’s strategy of expanding its regional footprint through local business partnerships. Customers throughout Kenosha County and neighboring communities will now have a local option for purchasing and learning about the company’s dock systems and related accessories.
GD Marine LLC is headquartered in Salem and is owned and operated by Ross Niemi and Mike Jansen. The company markets and sells dock and pier systems under the Geneva Dock brand throughout Wisconsin and the greater Midwest.
Paddock Lake Sporting Goods has served anglers, boaters, and outdoor enthusiasts in Kenosha County for decades and remains a fixture in the Paddock Lake community.

Yeah, the problem with society is that someone’s always trying to pull a fast one, but that day they messed with Randy and he took his guard down. He’s a good guy who got screwed over by some scumbags, so go FO. Good to see things have turned around for Randy, oh yeah ATF fellow, please FO.
