DA Solis Drops Domestic Violence Case Against Wealthy Businessman Michael Zacker; Body Camera Footage Released

KENOSHA, Wis. — Kenosha County District Attorney Xavier Solis on Tuesday dismissed a domestic violence case against prominent local businessman Michael Zacker, despite body camera footage showing the alleged victim repeatedly telling police that Zacker slapped her twice across the face, causing her ears to ring and knocking her to the floor. The dismissal, coming less than three months after charges were filed, is likely to be viewed as unusual by many courthouse insiders and criminal defense attorneys, who routinely see domestic violence cases take a year or longer to resolve and frequently proceed to jury trial on comparable evidence.

    1. “The Case of the Hysterical Harridan”: A wife goes batcrap berserk after being disciplined thinking that she would be automatically backed up in the current Female First Culture, which is how it usually works today. Thanks to Republican DA Solis for not wasting another taxpayer nickel in pursuing a case of domestic marital discipline. The prior Woke Democrat DA regime would have dragged out the drama for a year or more wasting 000s of tax dollars.

      1. He admitted to physically assaulting her, on camera, to the police. There is no ambiguity in the legality of such actions. He should be prosecuted like anyone else who hits another person.

  1. They also will not charge the prostitute for prostitution. If you’re illegally selling something (sex, drugs, whatever….) you’re furthering the whole commission of the crime or illegal industry.
    Seems counter intuitive.
You charge the person caught with drugs, and the guy selling it to them if you catch them.

  4. Shame on the DA. It is statically proven that it takes several attempts prior to a victim of abuse to leave their abuser under most circumstances. Not pressing charges only reinforces to this sorry excuse of a man that he can continue to abuse this woman, guaranteed he will escalate in the abuse. This poor woman now knows that the law is not on her side and will not protect her from her abuser which, in turn, will make it that much more difficult for her to leave that toxic relationship/environment.

  5. It’s not only about prosecuting those who can’t afford a good attorney and face other consequences—it’s also about setting an example with big rats like this. People voted for you expecting change.

  6. the rumor is that Big Mike has switched taverns. he is now drinking at the final inning. talk about rock bottom

  7. The Kenosha DA’s office denies prosecution on cases they think that they can’t prove beyond a “reasonable doubt” all the time. There are Domestic violence victims that go to the police front counter 365 days a year (in Kenosha, and probably all counties) that wish to “recant” their statement they made the day before concerning DV incidents, all of which is recorded on bodycams.

This would mean that the person was “not truthful” either day 1, or day 2. It is all recorded, and there is never charges for giving false information, this is probably enough of a “reasonable doubt” for the courts.

I have no idea if that is applicable to this particular incident, I know no details pertaining to this arrest. Mandatory arrest laws are outdated, and presume certain people are not equal by law, or is too dumb to make a decision on their own. I personally don’t know of any group of people “Too dumb” to make a decision for themselves in 2026; if someone else does- please list them in a reply.

    2
    1
    1. You make assertions you don’t back up. One is that mandatory arrest laws are “outdated”. Are you also claiming you don’t know why mandatory arrest laws for domestic violence perpetrators are in place? Hmm why might a DV victim not press charges? So, how many times HAVE you been involved in DV?

      1. I know why they were put into place in the 1992 violence against women act. Way back when, women were “kept in the home” so to speak as a social norm. Women make up 65percent of college students the last several generations.
Mandatory arrest would’ve been great for the 50’s thru the eighties… outdated now.
Women and men have the same opportunities and free will. Some of them even have penises now, and can get IDs

      2. Do you know what the mandatory arrest law is? It’s an arrest with no complaint from any victim. There should be no arrest with no signed/verbal complaint ever, aside from some felony situations. If you punch your neighbor they would have to make a complaint for you to be arrested. “Mandatory” domestic violence arrest there is no complaint necessary, the officers on scene make the arrest on behalf of the state. It’s very outdated and antiquated. The state never orders “mandatory divorces”, so its just as silly of a concept.

You can always “make a complaint” in regard to DV, but you should have free will to do so or not (Unless you’re mentally/physically incapable for some reason).

  8. Why do they blow out her picture. She’s part of this too. She’s part of all this drama. She don’t want to press charges. And I’m a female her picture should be seen no different than his. Ridiculous

  9. Reviewed the video…no way this should have been dismissed! Doesn’t change who he is, and they are back together now. Repeat, rinse, repeat.
