KENOSHA, Wis. — Christopher J. Polivka, 32, of Kenosha, was charged Tuesday with one felony and two misdemeanors after prosecutors allege he grabbed his wife by the throat with both hands, preventing her from breathing and leaving her fearing she was about to lose consciousness.
