KENOSHA, Wis. — Liberal activist Judge Jodi Meier (D) on Thursday sentenced former Bradford High School substitute teacher Alexander Robert Poyner, 34, of Kenosha, to just two years in state prison, followed by three years of extended supervision, despite the fact that he originally faced nearly 100 years of imprisonment when prosecutors charged him with 17 felonies. Earlier in the case, Meier dismissed 14 of those felony charges. On Thursday, after hearing from several people who spoke on Poyner's behalf, she imposed a prison sentence that was less than the maximum period of initial confinement authorized for the single felony offense to which he ultimately pleaded guilty.

No. If you read carefully you would see exactly what happened. The judge just dismissed them.
The Kenosha Judiciary is a joke. The last 2 judges to retire were the last of the good judges. Now it’s just wishy washy or shitty decisions.

Stick to the case and the fact that the DA clearly didn’t charge this correctly or all of these counts would not have been dismissed based upon an insufficient petition. He was a substitute teacher for the whole district not just Bradford HS. Fortunately he was caught wat he was doing, but definitely should of gotten more time.
Reminder, Meier was in charge of JUVENILE Crisis for about a decade. These types of rulings from her say a lot of what kind of harm she did to juveniles in Kenosha County for a VERY LONG TIME.
