KENOSHA, Wis. — Leroy Carr Jr., 68, of Kenosha, was charged Friday with felony domestic abuse battery and felony domestic abuse disorderly conduct after prosecutors say he repeatedly assaulted his wife, punched her in the head and stomach, threatened to kill her, and had a prior domestic violence record that elevated the charges. Court Commissioner Daniel E. Kellum set $7,500 cash bail Friday and ordered Carr to have no contact with the alleged victims and to refrain from possessing or consuming alcohol or controlled substances without a prescription. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 14, 2026.
