KENOSHA, Wis. — An Illinois man accused of fleeing from Kenosha County Sheriff’s deputies and driving recklessly during a pursuit into Illinois was arrested Friday, August 14, 2026, and is now in custody. Samuel A. Escobedo, 35, of Round Lake Beach, Illinois, is charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and fleeing or eluding an officer, both felonies. Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge David O. Hughes issued a $15,000 arrest warrant for Escobedo Thursday after an amended criminal complaint was filed.
