KENOSHA, Wis. — Angel Hernandez, 27, of Kenosha, is facing a felony substantial battery charge after police say he brutally beat a man he lived with, leaving the man with a deep head laceration, a split ear, a swollen and bleeding eye and other injuries. Hernandez allegedly admitted the attack when police arrested him, shouting, “ya I beat the fuck out of [victim].” Kenosha County Court Commissioner Daniel E. Kellum set Hernandez’s cash bail Thursday at just $800.
