SALEM LAKES, Wis. — Daniel S. Fernandez, 58, of Trevor, is facing four criminal charges after prosecutors say he repeatedly contacted his estranged wife despite a four-year domestic abuse injunction ordering him to stay away from her and avoid all contact. Because prosecutors charged Fernandez as a domestic abuse repeater on two counts, he faces a combined maximum sentence of seven years behind bars and $40,000 in fines if convicted on all counts.
