TWIN LAKES, Wis. — Shannon L. Banasack, 56, of Twin Lakes, was charged with operating while intoxicated causing injury and misdemeanor bail jumping after police say she slammed into another vehicle on Aug. 27, leaving the other driver bleeding from a head injury. Banasack, who allegedly told police, “I swear on Bon Jovi, I swear on Jesus Christ that I don’t do drugs or alcohol,” was released Wednesday on no-cash bail despite already being the beneficiary of a deferred prosecution agreement in a separate hit-and-run case.

She must know someone in the Kenosha Judicial system that is helping her out of these charges! How does a person get away with so many hit and runs and causing rear end crashes?!!!! She pled guilty and got it dismissed and now another one on hold? Ridiculous 😡 If any of us, me included did this we would be in jail! Do better judges!!!
She doesn’t need to know anyone unfortunately. Get arrested for any reason at all and the Kenosha judges and court commissioners will let you go. It’s absolutely pathetic! They are why this county has gone to crap!!

Judges like these in Kenosha should be held accountable if Any of these repeat offenders hurt or kill any innocent victim involved in the crimes committed.

Some people have medical conditions that need to be addressed and assessed better by medical teams before someone is given the opportunity to drive.Once fully assessed they should be reported to DMV, until something if anything is found to be an issue or cause,the license should be revoked the first incident. This is my understanding of how it works. The bond would be higher and there would be more jail time if it did come out that alcohol played a factor. Which they would know right away. If this is true was there numbers blown or blood test done to prove she was indeed intoxicated with alcohol?
