KENOSHA, Wis. — Kenosha residents will have an opportunity to safely dispose of sensitive documents during a free shredding event next month.
The City of Kenosha will offer free document shredding from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at three locations throughout the city.
Residents can bring documents to the Northside Library, 1500 27th Ave.; Kenosha Water Utility, 4401 Green Bay Road; or the Kenosha Emerging Leaders Academy, 2222 63rd St. The academy is a new location for this year’s event.
Each Kenosha resident may bring up to five bags or boxes of documents, which will be shredded by Shred-It representatives.
The city said its 2027 shredding dates are expected to be announced in February.
