TWIN LAKES, Wis. — Dale B. Shaffer, 29, of Twin Lakes, was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property, both with domestic-abuse modifiers, after police say an intoxicated outburst left a woman and two young children hiding behind a locked bedroom door. Court Commissioner Daniel E. Kellum continued Shaffer's previously posted $550 cash bail during his initial appearance Wednesday afternoon.

Thanks Kevin, you have been showing the deadbeats and braindead people we have living in our community. Everyone assumes this is a quite little village with no problems or people with big problems. Lately you have provided insight to just who lives in our area. Years ago we used to have a community newspaper where the police chief would show what went on in the village on a weekly basis. Some people on the village board didn’t like it but the residents did. You want to know what goes on in your town and who the bad actors are. We now have you and the Kenosha Eye to thank for that. Keep up the good reporting Kevin, we appreciate it!!
Dale needs some mental health care!! He is struggling’ and has been struggling. The system needs to help him –
The grown man needs to help himself. Blaming everything on the system or the environment. He’s a grown man. Responsible for himself.
Jack, twin lakes
Not everyone is bad’ but most are. In this case – Dale needs mental health support’
He needs people to help, support and encourage him to get the mental help he needs….
The problem, as it is with most half ass fathers, is them not leading by example. I know a part time DNA sample akin to this one. He’s no good as well.
“The System” doesnt need to help Jack. Jack needs to help Jack. Sounds like him and alcohol dont mix well. Start there
Twin Lakes used to be a nice community. Guess what? This woman will go back to him, and violence will happen again. It’s the gamble codependents take. If I hang in there a little longer, he’ll change. Lady, your kids are traumatized already. You’re lucky you haven’t been charged with child neglect.
I think he stole Woody from a yard sale.
