KENOSHA, Wis. — Journey Church’s Board of Deacons is defending former Lead Pastor Kevin Taylor’s handling of the Gabriel Mills criminal investigation, telling Kenosha County Eye through legal counsel that Taylor “was not free to disclose” what the Board characterized as privileged pastoral communications. But body-worn camera footage from the investigation shows Taylor telling Kenosha Police that he “would choose not to disclose” the information after saying church attorneys had advised him that he did not have to. Mills was a Journey Church pastor who was criminally charged after police alleged he sent himself explicit photographs from multiple women’s phones without their consent. His criminal cases remain ongoing, although Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge David O. Hughes ruled last month that probable cause did not support the felony-level charges and ordered prosecutors to amend the cases to misdemeanors.
Taylor has since left Journey Church and was elected Superintendent of the Wisconsin/Northern Michigan Ministries Network of the Assemblies of God. KCE contacted that organization with detailed questions about whether officials knew about the Mills investigation, Journey’s statements about cooperation with police and Taylor’s recorded interaction with investigators before he was elevated to the regional leadership position. The organization did not respond before publication.

He’s not a man of God.
Not a man of God.
You already said that.
It really is at the point if you want to help kids you need to have 2 adults with you at all times.
Yes sad but it’s really necessary.
Absolutely, for everyone’s safety.
Exactly, people quit to easily on marriage and divorce. Lazy folks treating marriage like it’s just a piece of paper.
Journey Church is FULL of hypocrites! I wish that place would pack up & leave!
There is room for one more.
Does anyone know how much involvement the pastors of journey church have with the attached Christian life school?
Cafferty is on the case so this will end up as an emotional support hamster sentence.
