
KENOSHA, Wis. — A portion of State Highway 158, also known as 52nd Street, will close overnight for one week while crews complete improvements near 68th Avenue.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will close Highway 158 nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Sept. 14, through Sept. 21. The work is being done at the intersection of Highway 158 and 68th Avenue.
The overnight closure will stretch from 88th Avenue east to Green Bay Road. Highway 158 will reopen to traffic during daytime hours.
Motorists will be directed to a signed detour using 88th Avenue, State Highway 50, or 75th Street, and Green Bay Road. Officials are asking drivers to allow additional travel time and use caution around the construction area.
The closures are scheduled to continue through Monday, Sept. 21.
