KENOSHA, Wis. — Carlos M. Aguilar, 40, of Kenosha, was charged Monday with felony strangulation and suffocation, misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct, all with domestic abuse modifiers, after prosecutors say he strangled his fiancée inside their Kenosha home while her daughter tried to pull him away. Court Commissioner Daniel “Catch & Release” Kellum set Aguilar’s bail at $1,000 cash Monday afternoon. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 22 at 10:15 a.m.
