KENOSHA, Wis. — Popular local band 7th Heaven will return to Kenosha Thursday evening for a free make-up performance as part of the city’s Peanut Butter & Jam concert series.
The concert is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Veterans Memorial Park. The band’s previously scheduled performance earlier this summer was postponed because of rain.
7th Heaven is a crowd favorite known for its “30 Songs in 30 Minutes” medley featuring music from the 1970s and 1980s.
The free outdoor concert is presented by the City of Kenosha and Happenings Magazine. Concert-goers may sit in Veterans Memorial Park or across the street at Navy Memorial Park near the harbor.
Sixth Avenue will be closed between 52nd and 54th streets for pedestrian safety.
Unlike typical Peanut Butter & Jam concert dates, there will be no noon performance Thursday. 7th Heaven will perform only at 6 p.m.
